The boat preparation for the racing season 2006 and qualification races in Mediterranean is in progress

Mini is finally in Tribunj. In the mid February she was trailed to Tribunj from the Balaton lake with big help of Sandor Kalan and his WV Tuareg. The boat was laying close to the lake Balaton for some time, missing the sea water she was designed for. Lake Balaton is completely covered with ice, and it was amasing to see this ocean racer in such surrounding.

Marina Tribunj is the central base of the 232 racer for the next two seasons. We are very thankful to their support and help in this project.

It will be necessary to refit the whole electrical installation and to install some new equipment. Safety equipment which is obligatory according to Mini Class propositions is in the acquiring phase.

Darko prizmic came from Orebic to help us in preparation of the boat's underwater part. Branko Palic and Marlon Brajevic from Letrafix were of great help too.

Vjeko Orlandini from Fiberspars, carbon fiber products company located in Split is preparing the new carbon boom, more stiff and much ligter than the existing alu one. The new carbon mast is in plan too. The profile will be specially designed for this boat and classe Mini.

The first Croatian Mini campaign will be officially launched  on Split Croatia Boat Show from 1st to 9^th April 2006. There will be the project presentation press conference. After that we are planning sea trainings and preparations for the first race in France in the mid of May.

The first qualification race will be Triangle du solei in la Gradd Motte where coskipper will be Darko Prizmic and boat skipper Sime Stipanicev. It is 500 nm doublehanded race in Lyon gulf, Mediterranean. After that  Mini Solo (110 mils solo), Mini Max (500 miles doublehanded ) and Mini Med (500 mils doublehanded) during June and July.
